• Access to the Document (DC010) menu.
• "Allow editing electronic file in release" parameter enabled in the general parameters.
• Category with configured metadata export.
• Files with the .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, and .odt extensions.
• Electronic signature NOT completed.

Introduction

SoftExpert Document features the manual metadata update option, allowing the user to activate the synchronization of document information directly in the electronic file.

Updating metadata

1. Access the Document (DC010) menu.

2. Locate the desired document and right-click on it.

3. Click on to open the data screen.

4. Access the Electronic file tab on the document data screen.

5. Hover the mouse over the electronic file.

6. Expand the button that will be enabled and click on Update metadata.

7. Confirm the system message.
