Revising a survey template

 

Prerequisites

  • Previously created survey template.
  • Access to the Management > Template revision (SV021) menu or to the File > Survey template (SV004) menu.

 

Introduction

After creating a survey template, we can revise it. This way, we update existing templates and ensure that its questions and structure are always aligned with the organization's objectives.

The revision of a survey template is defined in the survey type. 

Three types of revision processes are available: Simplified, Workflow, and ISO9000. Access the Configuring a revision article to understand how they work.

Templates with revision via Workflow or ISO9000 revision will be edited via the Management > Template revision (SV021) menu.

Templates with simplified revision will be edited via the File > Survey template (SV004) menu.

See below how to perform these operations:

 

Adding a new survey template revision

1. Access the Management > Template revision (SV021) menu.

2. Select the desired record and click on the button.

3. On the screen that will open, edit the desired data.

4. After finishing the changes, click on the Accept revision button to save them.

5. Answer the question “Wish to send it to next step?” with Confirm.

6. The Template revision task will be generated so that all users included in the responsibility route can approve the revision. The revision will be finished once everyone has approved it.

 

Editing a survey template with simplified revision

1. Access the File > Survey template (SV004) menu.

2. Select the desired record and click on the button.

3. On the screen that will open, click on the Enable editing button.

4. Edit the desired data.

5. After finishing the changes, click on the Accept revision button.

6. Answer the question “Wish to release the version?” with Confirm

 

Conclusion

Once the survey templates are revised, they will be up-to-date and aligned with the organization's objectives.
