Prerequisites

  • Access to the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
  • Action plan in the planning step.

Introduction

Actions are specific procedures that must be performed to achieve the objective of a plan.

When planning an action plan, it is necessary to structure its actions and assign them responsible parties, deadlines, and objectives.

Assembling the action structure

See below how to assemble the action structure of an action plan:

In the structure, it is possible to add two types of actions:

  • Planned action: an action that will be performed.
  • Immediate action: an action that has already been carried out, but still needs to be recorded. Thus, an immediate action does not have the execution and planning steps and is added only for recording purposes.

Conclusion

After assembling the action structure, the responsible parties can start to execute them. If approval has been configured in the category, before executing the actions, it will be necessary to approve the planning. After approving the planning, it will be possible to execute and, finally, monitor the execution of the actions.
