The proficiency scale configuration in SoftExpert Competência allows you to define the expected performance levels for each assessed competency, establishing clear and standardized criteria for measuring the knowledge, skills, or attitudes of employees. 

This feature is essential to ensure consistency in assessments, facilitating the interpretation of results and supporting strategic professional development decisions.
 

Configure proficiency scale 

1. Access the Settings menu > Proficiency Scale (CO020).

2. Click the button Add icon.on the toolbar.

3. Provide an identifier and a name for the proficiency scale.

4. Fill in the Description field on the General tab to record information about the scale.

5. Click the button Save icon. to enable the Proficiency Level tab.

6. On the Proficiency Level tab, click Add icon.to add a proficiency level.

7. Fill in the Identifier field with a number or abbreviation that represents the level to be included.

8. Provide a name and grade for the proficiency level.

9. In the Description field , record any important observations about the proficiency level.

10. Click the button Save and exit icon.to save.

After including all proficiency levels, the scale needs to be approved so that it can be used in the system.

Approve proficiency scale

Understand how to approve a schedule that is currently being issued/reviewed:

1. Access the Settings menu > Proficiency Scale (CO020).

2. In the first quadrant, fill in the search filters and click the SEARCH button.

3. In the list of records, locate and select the desired proficiency level.

4. Next, click the button Execution icon. in the sidebar toolbar.

5. Click the OK button to end the scale review.

The proficiency scale can only be approved if it has at least two registered proficiency levels.

 

Include a new revision of the proficiency scale.

1. Access the Settings menu > Proficiency Scale (CO020).

2. In the first quadrant, fill in the search filters and click the SEARCH button.

3. In the list of records, locate and select the desired proficiency level. 

4. Next, in the side toolbar of the third quadrant, click the button Add new revision icon..

5. At this point, the scale data screen will open, allowing you to edit the Identifier, Name, and Revision.

6. Click the button Save icon.  to save the record. The Proficiency Level tab will then be enabled for editing.

7. After reviewing the scale and making all necessary adjustments, click the button  Save and exit icon. to save and exit the record.

To successfully create a review, the selected proficiency scale must have its status set to Approved.
