• Access the Settings menu > Learning method type (CO038) .
• Access the Registration menu > Learning Method (CO028) .
   

Presentation

In SoftExpert Competência, the learning method is the registration that defines how the employee will acquire knowledge about a specific competency. 

For example, let's say that for the competency "Negotiation," HR registers the method "Benchmarking with senior team" and associates it with the competency. This way, when planning development or analyzing gaps in the matrix, the team can identify that the competency can be developed using this specific method.

In the Learning Method Type menu (CO038) , all types that will classify the learning methods registered in the system must be recorded. For better organization, the types are presented hierarchically.

In the Learning Method menu (CO028) , all the learning methods by which employees will develop a specific skill are registered. 

See below how to complete these registrations:

Configure learning method type

1. Access the Settings menu > Learning method type (CO038) .

2. Click the button on the toolbar.

3. In the Identifier field , enter a number or abbreviation to identify the type of learning method.

4. In the Name field , enter a name for the learning method type.

5. Use the Higher Learning Method Type field to include the type that is hierarchically superior to the one being created. To do this, click the button , select the desired type, and click the button to save your selection. 

6. After filling in all the fields, click the button to save the record.

Register learning method

1. Access the Registration menu > Learning Method (CO028) .

2. Click the button on the toolbar.

3. Select the type that will classify the learning method and click the button to save your selection.

4. On the screen that will open, enter an identifier and a name for the learning method.

5. Use the Description field to record additional information.

6. Click the button to enable the remaining tabs for completion.

7. In the Attachment tab , drag or select a file to include attachments related to the learning method.

8. On the Associations tab , click the Associate button .

9. On the screen that opens, select the competency to be associated with the method using the Association Type field .

10. In the Relationship Type field , select the relationship between the objects being associated.

11. In the Object field , select the record to which the method will be related and click the Save button .

12. To finalize the method registration, click the button on the learning method data screen.
