Configuring a translation API
Prerequisites
- SoftExpert Copilot as a part of the solutions acquired by the organization.
- SoftExpert Suite environment hosted in the cloud.
- Previously configured integration API (Google v2, Google v3, or Amazon AWS v3).
- Access to the Configuration > Integration center (COP010) menu.
Introduction
In the Translation tab of Copilot's Integration center, it is possible to configure APIs for machine translation of texts and files.
The translation of texts and files uses different APIs, according to the features offered by each platform.
This article presents the procedure to configure a translation API, in addition to providing practical usage examples in SoftExpert Suite.
Configuring a text translation API
1. To set it up, access the Configuration > Integration center (COP010) menu.
2. Click on the Translation tab.
3. In the Text grouping, select the desired API in the corresponding field.
For text translation, the Google v2, Google v3, Amazon AWS v3 APIs, previously registered, can be used. It is also possible to use SoftExpert's own API, called SoftExpert Suite.

Configuring a file translation API
1. To set it up, access the Configuration > Integration center (COP010) menu.
2. Click on the Translation tab.
For file translation, only the Google v3 API can be used and must have been previously registered.
