Prerequisites

  • Access to the Management > Copy > Distribution (DC012) menu or to the Task center > Execution > Printed copies sending menu.
  • Copy station associated with a document whose category is configured with copy distribution.

Introduction

The issuance of the copy protocol is responsible for putting copy distribution into practice.

In this article, we will issue copies of the work instruction document developed as an example during the flow.

A copy protocol can be issued via the menus below:

Management > Copy > Distribution (DC012): as soon as a document is created from a category with copy distribution configured, copy issuance will be available to be executed in this menu.

Task center > Execution > Printed copies sending: when, on the document data screen, in the Printed copy tab, a copy station is associated, or when a copy station is associated with documents in the Document X Copy station matrix (DC005) menu. As soon as the document is released, the Printed copies sending task is generated so that the responsible user can issue the copy protocol.

Conclusion

Once the issuance is finished, the addressees of the distribution of the document copies must simply confirm their receiving.

To do so, follow the steps in the Confirming the receiving of the copies article.
