ISO 2859-1:1999 sampling tables: more flexibility and international standard in inspections

Receiving inspections have gained a new level of flexibility and alignment with global practices.

SoftExpert Inspection now incorporates the ISO 2859-1:1999 sampling tables, expanding the use of internationally recognized standards for sampling by attributes.

Previously, the system considered the NBR 5426:1985 tables as reference, which suited certain contexts, but limited organizations that needed to operate with sampling plans compatible with standards widely used in the market.

With the new resource, the user can select, as they need, the most appropriate standard for their process, making the inspection better aligned with the operational and regulatory reality of each scenario.

Now, it is possible to select the ISO 2859-1:1999 or NBR 5426:1985 tables directly in the system, either in the inspection form or in the configuration by supplier and characteristic.

This possibility favors the standardization of evaluation criteria and, at the same time, allows for a more refined level of adequacy to the supply context and to quality control.

Another important gain is in the clear identification of the norm applied in the evaluation, which strengthens the traceability of the process and reduces ambiguities in the interpretation of the acceptance criteria of lots. In this way, the user starts to count on greater transparency for audits, communication between units, and alignment with customers and suppliers that adopt the ISO standard as their main reference.

This evolution expands SoftExpert Inspection's capacity to handle operations with different normative requirements, adding versatility to receiving inspections and strengthening quality governance in environments that demand technical compliance and consistency in acceptance decisions.

In this implementation, the resource includes the selection of the ISO 2859-1:1999 standard as the sampling rule for the use of its tables, but does not cover the switching flow of inspection types or the operation curves provided for in the standard, with the configurations currently used in the component being maintained.

New default frames with intelligent features

SoftExpert Suite version 3.1 brings a modern and standardized interface to the following menus:

  • Inspection form type (IP059).
  • Inspection flow (IP023).
  • Sampling table (IP027).
  • Identification mask (IP020).
  • Permission profile (IP066).

With optimized filters and a new functional listing, it is much easier to view, locate, and manage records.

Immediate benefits of this screen:

  • Export of data from the list for reuse in other environments.
  • Individual record editing.
  • Mass change and deletion.
  • Direct access to records with two clicks.

Exclusively in the Inspection form type (IP059) menu, it is possible to create records using the "With AI agent" feature, in addition to other options, such as creating records from scratch, integration with APIs, and import from a template.

With the new screen, SoftExpert Suite provides a more agile and efficient user experience, aligned with the needs of your organization.

The "With AI agent" feature will only be available to organizations that are Cloud customers and have SoftExpert Copilot.

Service center menu centralized

Data management continues to be standardized in release 3.1 with the centralization of menus in the SoftExpert Administration component.

The Service center (IP005) menu has been removed from SoftExpert Inspection, and the records are now created exclusively in the Service center (AD082) menu.

With this change, information maintenance occurs in a single place, providing greater consistency among the components and more agility in data management.
