Create requirements with AI based on normative content

Version 3.1 introduces two ways for adding requirements based on normative content, such as laws, regulations, and rules, using artificial intelligence:

  • From a file: allows extracting and structuring requirements automatically from PDF documents.
  • With AI agent: allows interacting with the AI by means of a chat to start the creation of requirements.

The AI interprets the content, identifies the applicable requirements, and creates the records in a structured manner directly in the system, reducing manual effort and promoting greater standardization.

New unified menu for revising, revalidating, and tracking requirement mappings

Discover the innovation in requirement management for this release: the menus for creating, revising, and revalidating requirement mappings in the SoftExpert Requirement component are now gathered in a single screen, with a lighter and simpler design, making access to the features much more practical.

Now, the Tracking (REQ023), Requirement mapping (REQ024), Requirement mapping revision (REQ025), and Requirement mapping revalidation (REQ036) menus are integrated into the new Requirement mapping (REQ050) default frame.

To access the new unified menu, use the code REQ050 in the search bar. The new interface is designed to guide users in a clear and intuitive way through the resources.

If you prefer, go back to the previous version any time by clicking on Return to previous version in the lower left corner of the screen.

New requirement structure

In the latest version of the system, a new view of the requirement structure is available, designed to bring more clarity and productivity to requirement management, allowing all editing to be carried out directly through the structure.

In this new view, the requirements are presented hierarchically, facilitating the understanding of the organization.

With this improvement, it is possible to:

  • Add new requirements directly to the structure.
  • Edit ID #, name, and description with a few clicks.
  • Organize the hierarchy in a simple way by dragging the items to change their position.
  • Delete quickly, either by removing a specific item or its entire linked structure.

This makes requirement management simpler, more agile, and more productive.

For the Description column to be displayed, the new Use plain text in the Description field column must be selected in the requirement type configuration.

Improvements in the management and execution of test cases in requirements

In this release, the test case configuration has been improved, bringing more convenience and organization to the process.

Now, with the improvements applied, it is possible to:

  • Add attributes directly to the test plan, allowing for greater flexibility when defining information.
  • Create test cases and their respective steps in a single interface, reducing the need for navigation between different screens.
  • Associate SoftExpert Kanban tasks, facilitating execution tracking and recording.

With these changes, the configuration of test cases becomes more practical, organized, and aligned with the day-to-day needs.

Evaluation method menu centralized

In version 3.1, the system keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management.

Tthe Evaluation method (REQ038) menu has been removed from SoftExpert Requirement and is now centralized in SoftExpert Administration.

Furthermore, the Criterion (REQ037) menu has been incorporated into the Evaluation method (AD083) menu, unifying management in one place. This change simplifies navigation, improves data consistency, and makes administration more agile and faster.

This centralization makes for a simpler and more efficient user experience, allowing data maintenance to be carried out in a single place.

The result is greater consistency among the components, as well as greater agility for those who manage or use this information in the system.
