Prerequisite
Access to the Configuration > General parameters (PL021) menu.
Introduction
The general parameters of SoftExpert Action plan must be configured to define the default behavior of records in the system.
See how to configure them:
Configuring the general parameters
1. Access the Configuration > General parameters (PL021) menu.
2. In the Calculation of the due date of actions and plans in the execution step section, check the desired option:
Consider only end date:the system will calculate the due date of the action that will be executed, considering only the end date planned for it.
Consider start and end date:the system will calculate the due date of the action that will be executed, considering the start and end dates planned for it.
4. In the Allow retroactive dates during section, enable the desired options:
Planning
Enabled: it will be possible to set retroactive dates during the planning of the actions and action plans.
Disabled: it will not be possible to set retroactive dates during the planning of the actions and action plans.
Execution
Enabled: it will be possible to set retroactive dates during the execution of the actions.
Disabled: it will not be possible to set retroactive dates during the execution of the actions.
5. Other options can be configured in the general parameters menu:
Complementary options
Allow only responsible user for action plan/action to delete record
Enabled:the logged user will be able to delete the action plans/actions under their responsibility.
Disabled: the logged user will only be able to delete the records for which the "List" permission is enabled in the record's security and in the category's security.
Clear the executed dates of the plan action when rejecting its verification
Enabled:when the verification of an action is rejected, the execution dates will be cleared from the fields.
Disabled:when the verification of an action is rejected, the execution dates will be maintained.
Use hours and minutes in actions and plans
Enabled:the Time field will be displayed on the screens of the plans and actions. Its completion will be mandatory.
Disabled:the Time field will not be displayed on the screens of the plans and actions.
Consider hours and minutes to calculate the deadline
Enabled:the system will consider the hours and minutes entered in the Time field on the screens of plans and actions.
Disabled:the system will not consider the hours and minutes entered in the Time field on the screens of plans and actions.
This field will only be available if the Use hours and minutes in actions and plans option is enabled.
Block the selection of responsible parties when they do not have permission in the respective menus
Enabled: the system will not list users without access to the Planning (PL004), Tracking (PL006), and Actions and plans (PL001) menus in the Responsible for planning and Responsible for action plan fields.
Disabled:the system will list even the users without permission on the mentioned menus. Users can be selected as responsible.
Consider the current date for calculating actions under execution with a percentage of 100%
Enabled:the system will compare the planned date with the current date to determine whether the action is on time or past due.
Disabled:the system will compare the planned date with the actual date to determine whether the action is on time or past due.
Require explanation when changing action dates
Enabled:the system will require an explanation when changing the planned dates of a plan action or isolated action during the execution step. The explanation will be displayed as a comment in the action history.
Disabled:the system will not require an explanation when changing the planned dates of a plan action or isolated action during the execution step.
Block manual date changes after the planning step
Enabled: it will not be possible to change action dates. The user that wishes to postpone an action must create an action replanning request in SoftExpert Request, which will follow its approval flow.
Disabled:the dates of both the plan and its actions can be changed by the user after planning, provided that they have access to the Tracking (PL006) menu or the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
In version 2.2.2. of the system, the planning, tracking, view, and deletion menus were unified into the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
For this reason, the parameters referring to the unified menus now have their rules applied within the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
6. Click on the button to save the parameterizations.
Since SoftExpert Suite version 2.2.3, the "Number of days to consider action execution is close to due date" parameter is no longer available in the general parameters of SoftExpert Action plan. The parameters of this type are configured in the E-mail notification (CM022) menu of SoftExpert Configuration.
Conclusion
Thus, the defined parameterizations will be used in SoftExpert Action plan records.
