Task center
Introduction
The Task center is the new version of the My tasks menu, now with the proposal of providing a unified, more modern and efficient view of all responsibilities users have in the system.
With this redesign, it is possible to execute all task-related actions through one single screen. This means less time searching for information and greater agility to complete assignments.

Transferring tasks
In the day-to-day routine, it might be necessary to transfer tasks from one user to another, whether to guarantee that the actions will be executed when the responsible user is absent, or to reassign responsibilities when the occasion demands so.
See a practical example of how to transfer tasks:
- Upon clicking on the Task transfer button in the Center, the user is taken to the SoftExpert Administration > Management > Task transfer > User (AD041) menu. If this button is not enabled, it means that the user does not have access to the menu.
- In addition to users, SoftExpert Administration also allows for transferring tasks between teams, positions, and organizational units. The process is identical to that of transfer between users (as shown in the video).
- For users without access to the Administration component, the administrator is recommended to create a specific access group in SoftExpert Configuration > Configuration > Access group (CM011). In this group, only the task transfer options (user, team, position, unit) must be enabled. Users that need this permission must be associated with the group.
- The system also allows for configuring the automatic transfer of tasks to another user over specific periods, such as vacation. For more details, refer to the Registering user absences article.
Conclusion
By exploring these features, it is possible to use the Task center menu in an efficient manner, as it provides an immediate overview of the number of past due, close-to-due-date, and on-time tasks.
Centralizing in-progress activities helps prioritize what needs to be done more urgently, guaranteeing deliveries and excellence in the work flow.
