Introduction

Before creating a predictive analysis, whether KPI forecasting or process mining, it is necessary to create a predictive analysis type.

Analysis types allow for organizing and classifying the analyses that will be added through the Predictive analysis (DL001) menu.

See how to create a type below:

Creating a predictive analysis type

1. Access the Configuration > Predictive analysis type (DL002) menu.

2. Click on the Add record icon. button to add an analysis type.

3. Enter an ID #, a name, and, if you wish, a description.

4. In the Predictive analysis security tab, click on the Add record icon. button to associate a permission profile with the desired users.

5. In the Type security tab, click on the Add record icon. button to associate a permission profile with the desired users.

Access the Associating a permission profile with the security article to learn more.

6. Lastly, click on the Save and exit icon. button to save the changes.

“Predictive analysis type” screen open, with the “Identifier” and “Name” fields filled in.

As of version 2.2.3, this menu will not be available. To add a process mining analysis, simply access the Predictive analysis (DL001) menu. To learn how to create an analysis, refer to the Creating a KPI forecasting analysis article.

Conclusion

Thus, types are created to classify predictive analyses.
