Editing an action under execution
Prerequisites
- Access to the Execution > Action execution (PL009) menu.
- Action with execution in progress.
Introduction
Actions can be edited during their execution, whether plan actions or isolated actions.
This operation can be performed through the Execution > Action execution (PL009) menu.

Editing an action
1. Access the Action execution (PL009) menu.
2. Select the desired action and click on the
button.
3. The action execution screen will be displayed.
See, below, the editable sections in the execution step:

A — Security (isolated action): in this section, it is possible to view and edit the security list of the isolated action, according to the definitions performed in the category or in the planning step.
B — Approval: depending on the action being executed, the following subsections may be displayed:
- Action verification (Plan action): it will only be displayed if the Verification option is checked in the Approval tab of the action category. In it, it is possible to view or define who will be in charge of the action execution approval. The responsible parties will receive the Effectiveness verification task after the closure of the action execution. The completion of the information depends on the route type selected in the category.
- Effectiveness verification (Isolated action): it will only be displayed if the Verification option is checked in the Approval tab of the action category. In it, it is possible to view and define who will be in charge of the effectiveness verification of the action execution. The responsible parties will receive the Effectiveness verification task after the closure of the action execution. The completion of the information depends on the route type selected in the category.
C — Comment: in this tab, it is possible to write comments related to the action plan. Enter a comment in the available field and click on Send. Comments can be liked or resolved using the respective buttons they provide. It will also be possible to reply to comments already left using the Comment button. Every added comment will be displayed on a timeline in the History tab of the action plan.
D — Attachment: in this section, files related to the action can be attached.
E — Summary:
- Where used (Isolated action): displays the records with which the isolated action is associated. Initially, the components and the number of records from each component that uses the action are displayed. Upon selecting a component, related record types are listed. When clicking on a record type, the system displays a listing with the data of the records that contain the isolated action.
- Predecessor (Plan action): in this section, it is possible to track all the actions linked to the action being executed.
- Attributes: displays the attributes configured in the action category, if any.
- Checklist: displays the checklists configured in the action category, if any.
F — History: this section displays a timeline with the main events that occurred in the action. Use the Comment option, located below each event, to add a comment related to it.
G — Association: in this section, it is possible to associate other system objects related to the action being executed, such as documents from SoftExpert Document, indicators from SoftExpert Performance, projects and tasks from SoftExpert Project, etc.
H — Request: in this section, it is possible to track and issue action rescheduling requests. It will only be displayed if the SoftExpert Request component is part of the solutions acquired by your organization.
I — Configurations: in this section, it will be possible to configure the timesheet of the action. See the subsections that allow for configuring timesheets:
- Enter time: this section will display the configurations related to the action's timesheet.
- Actual time: this section will be filled out with the data of the time entered for the action. At the bottom of the section, the system shows the total quantity referring to the regular, overtime, and total hours that have been entered. For this feature to function properly, SoftExpert Time control must be part of the solutions acquired by your organization.
4. After performing the desired changes, save the record.
