Importing actions into a plan
Prerequisite
- Access to the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
Introduction
The system allows for importing actions from an Excel spreadsheet into an action plan from SoftExpert Action plan.
Thus, it is possible to add several actions at once. See how to perform this operation below:
Downloading and filling out the import spreadsheet
1. Access the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
2. Select the desired action plan and right-click on it.
3. On the plan data screen, click on the Export button. The actionplanstruct spreadsheet will be downloaded.
4. In the spreadsheet, the cells will be filled out with action information. Each cell represents a field of the system, indicated by the columns.

5. With the spreadsheet template saved, fill it out with the fields of the actions you wish to import. Each filled row in the columns will be equivalent to an action.
6. Save the spreadsheet. The actions will be ready for import!
- If the required columns are not filled out, the system will not validate the import.
- The columns that reference system records, such as the ID # of the action plan into which the actions will be imported, must be filled with the exact same information as that of the system.
- The extension of the file must be .xls and said file must remain in the same language as when it was downloaded from the system. For example: if the spreadsheet is downloaded while SoftExpert Suite is in English, but is imported later on with SoftExpert Suite in Portuguese, the system will not validate it.
- The Login and Name columns must be filled out with the ID of the user responsible for executing the action.
Importing actions into the plan
1. Access the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
2. Select the action plan you wish and right-click on it.
3. Click on the Open data button.
4. On the screen that will open, click on the Import button.
5. Attach the actionplanstruct spreadsheet that was filled out in the previous topic using the
button of the File (* .xls) field.
6. To finish, click on the
button.

- If there are identical actions in the plan structure and in the spreadsheet, those of the plan will be replaced with those recorded in the .xls file.
- If there are new actions in the spreadsheet, and the action plan already contains actions, the new ones from the spreadsheet will be added to the structure, and the existing ones will not be deleted.
Conclusion
Thus, the actions will be imported into an action plan. This is a very practical way to create multiple actions all at once!
